In the 4thth minute of the game Nils Hovermann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Amboy FC's Ariel Mourelatos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Modestio in the 13th minute of play. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hertha 1969's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cornelio Rius was slow to take the kick. During this time Amboy FC's players had a chance to rest. Ruperto Modestio was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Ariel Mourelatos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moritz Hasenjäger, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Nils Hovermann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Ariel Mourelatos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Elenescu in the 24th minute of play. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Hertha 1969 from getting a goal against them. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rune Jarstein came out and tried to block the shot, but Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 31st minute. Rune Jarstein stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute Gigel Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Mourelatos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Mourelatos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Elenescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The Hertha 1969 fans' excitement grew in the 35th match minute when Hertha 1969's Nils Hovermann looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd minute, Kristian Oswald left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hertha 1969 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. After the first half Hertha 1969 were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán to make the kick off. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 57th minute of the match. Rune Jarstein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán in the 61st minute of play. Hertha 1969 made a substitution. Benedikt Bensch replaced Emilio Melzer. Amboy FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after Hertha 1969's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cornelio Rius took the corner. Ariel Mourelatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Oswald in the 65th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Hertha 1969's Ariel Mourelatos threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gigel Elenescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 70 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Héctor-Raul Manenti Fontán came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ruperto Modestio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Zé Paulo da Silva could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Ariel Mourelatos however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gigel Elenescu in the 80th minute of play forced Amboy FC's goalkeeper Ariel Mourelatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilhelm Nienhaus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Mourelatos having to interfere. Hertha 1969's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moritz Hasenjäger in the 89th minute. The corner led to Hertha 1969's Zé Paulo da Silva getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
