Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Victor Piţurcă made the kick off which started today's match. Emerald's Victor Piţurcă got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor Piţurcă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Emerald's Victor Piţurcă slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. In the 18th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nichifor Nicolae saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The throw-in from Matei Félix Júnior in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Venezuela's Jose Correa. 27 minutes into the match, Emerald's Victor Piţurcă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Victor Piţurcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Victor Piţurcă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Emerald's zone, Patricio Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nichifor Nicolae came out of the goal and Patricio Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 32 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Emerald players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Nichifor Nicolae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Emerald's Julio Iglesias got a free kick in the 36th minute. During the 37th minute of the match Guillermo Mariano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Guillermo Mariano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 38th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Piţurcă took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 42nd minute, Emerald's Victor Piţurcă dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Victor Piţurcă received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Jonathan Ferrant came out and tried to block the shot, but Victor Piţurcă slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

Emerald made a substitution. Ioan Logofătu replaced Julio Iglesias. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Patricio Costa was the one to do the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Piţurcă in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Victor Piţurcă notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Emerald's Victor Piţurcă in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. Patricio Costa came free in the 70th minute and tried to tip the ball over Nichifor Nicolae, but to the joy of Emerald's supporters the ball went over. In the 72nd minute, Victor Piţurcă left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Emerald fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Patricio Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Emerald booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Piţurcă in the 79th minute of play. If Victor Piţurcă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Piţurcă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the game, Ioan Logofătu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victor Piţurcă struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jonathan Ferrant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emerald.
