Abraham Alguacil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidoro Sarmiento in the 4th minute of play forced -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalkeeper Octav Hortopan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was a well-played corner which Miguel Miralles managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Ioan Ghimiș hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Octav Hortopan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abraham Alguacil charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Abraham Alguacil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Grigore Purje fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 35 minutes into the game, when Ioan Ghimiș put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in -BZF- Fc Gheraseni fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! Octav Hortopan went to the wrong direction when Abraham Alguacil was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Octav Hortopan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isidoro Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Tomas Berganza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Hortopan having to interfere. In the 47th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Hortopan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Verzea made a kick off. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Octav Hortopan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. In the 55th minute, Virgil Nedelcea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The -BZF- Fc Gheraseni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Abraham Alguacil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Octav Hortopan made a huge save. Octav Hortopan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isidoro Sarmiento went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Octav Hortopan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Isidoro Sarmiento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octav Hortopan having to make a save. Jose Carita kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match Alexandru Stelian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Cotilla skillfully saved the ball. 75 minutes into the match, -BZF- Fc Gheraseni's goalkeeper Octav Hortopan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isidoro Sarmiento. Nae Mihăescu kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isidoro Sarmiento got free with Octav Hortopan in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute Isidoro Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octav Hortopan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panama's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because -BZF- Fc Gheraseni had won, even though Panama had held more of the ball.
