Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 16th minute of play. USA's Marco Day proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save USA from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, Arsenal de Gols F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Cassius Byrne came free, but Marcelo Gröhe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elias Siqueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marco Day prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Siqueira was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match USA got a corner. Arsenal de Gols F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cassius Byrne ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Cassius Byrne got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Marcelo Gröhe quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Arsenal de Gols F.C booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Bradley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Gröhe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 59th minute of the match. Fabian Brown hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. USA made a substitution. Sam Campbell replaced Cassius Byrne. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Raimundo Alvarenga was substituted for Elias Siqueira. Fabian Brown kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Krisztián Kormos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Campbell in the 69th minute of play. Raimundo Alvarenga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Day read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Marcelo Gröhe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 73rd minute of play. Arsenal de Gols F.C's Marcelo Gröhe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monty Rogers in the 77th minute of play. Marco Day showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. USA made a substitution. Khalid Parry replaced Monty Rogers. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. 87 minutes into the game, Raimundo Alvarenga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marco Day was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sam Campbell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Marcelo Gröhe made a huge save. Marcelo Gröhe was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Khalid Parry showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 92 minute of play. In the 95th minute Khalid Parry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Gröhe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Arsenal de Gols F.C support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
