After some careless play in the 杜马盖地看鲸鲨 defense, Axel Tasis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 冯悦振. The 杜马盖地看鲸鲨 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 冯悦振 should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 16th minute. 马威震 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Noboa struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. 冯悦振 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. 冯悦振 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Tasis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 唐剑战 kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 唐剑战 hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The 杜马盖地看鲸鲨 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Costa Rica were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Axel Tasis made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, 杜马盖地看鲸鲨's 马威震 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 张星宇 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. 杜马盖地看鲸鲨's 冯悦振 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 63rd minute of play. After 67 minutes, 马威震 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 杜马盖地看鲸鲨 and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. 马威震 kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 71 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 马威震 in the 73rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, 马威震 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 杜马盖地看鲸鲨's supporters rose to their feet, but 马威震 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, 白伟崇 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute of the match Axel Tasis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 冯悦振 skillfully saved the ball. Axel Tasis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. 冯悦振 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 马威震 in the 85th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 86 minutes, 马威震 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 杜马盖地看鲸鲨's supporters crossed their fingers, but 马威震 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 杜马盖地看鲸鲨's 胡霆耀 couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 88th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Costa Rica. If 马威震 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Costa Rica had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
