Axel Tasis struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. 唐雄挺 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. dock龙湖's 唐雄挺 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Puig in the 17th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when 方宁梁 sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as 秦克松 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 in the 24 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 秦克松 in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 柳卫烨 kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Axel Tasis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 唐雄挺 was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Tasis to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the game, dock龙湖's 秦克松 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 秦克松 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benito Sanz having to interfere. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 方宁梁 in the 62nd minute of the match. 秦克松 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 方宁梁, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
