Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. In the 6th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Ecuador's Felix Montes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maksymilian Raflewski in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Aurèle Banks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nati De Negri in the 15th minute of the match. Maksymilian Raflewski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurèle Banks in the 28th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nati De Negri. Maksymilian Raflewski came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maksymilian Raflewski having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Maksymilian Raflewski made a huge save. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurèle Banks in the 60th minute of play. In the 61st minute Nati De Negri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nati De Negri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Felix Montenegro got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Florencio Txaran charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Florencio Txaran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florencio Txaran hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Squadron Pancho 95's Santos Petrigai got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After a rather tough play, Squadron Pancho 95's Florencio Txaran got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Squadron Pancho 95 getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Nati De Negri hit a great ball.
