Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jarūnas Kuliešius took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 6th minute, Deividas Aukštakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daugirdas Burokas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarūnas Kuliešius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. After having played for 17 minutes, Agustín Saelices managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustín Saelices was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Alytus United's Daugirdas Burokas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. Daugirdas Burokas came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of FC Alytus United booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarūnas Kuliešius in the 33rd minute of play. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jarūnas Kuliešius was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Alytus United's players had a chance to rest. When FC Alytus United's Jarūnas Kuliešius in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Regimantas Šileikis in the 56th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarūnas Kuliešius in the 59th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Daugirdas Burokas in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 63 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jarūnas Kuliešius came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarūnas Kuliešius in the 70th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Daugirdas Burokas was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 73rd minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Daugirdas Burokas in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 80th match minute, FC Alytus United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deividas Aukštakis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 81st minute of play forced FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Daugirdas Burokas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Daavid Šembera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game.
