Barış Akdoğ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 7th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barış Akdoğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Panama's Marcos Cotilla got control of the ball when Lucas Gilchrist tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute, Kartal Müfit ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Kartal Müfit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barış Akdoğ took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Raichu JK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Kartal Müfit hit a great ball. The supporters of Raichu JK booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Cambeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Müller. Raichu JK's Barış Akdoğ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Diego Müller could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Marcos Cotilla however easily saved by the left post. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 29 minutes into the game, Diego Müller cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcos Cotilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 32 played minutes Panama got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Alguacil. In the 33rd match minute, Panama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Ros to maneuver through the defense. A well-hit corner resulted in Miguel Miralles heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 45th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Barış Akdoğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Abraham Alguacil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Berganza was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Müller in the 58th minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Müller in the 71st minute of play forced Panama's goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abraham Alguacil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Barış Akdoğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Berganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
