Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernest Spoelbergs kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 3rd minute of play forced Bucaneiros's goalkeeper Bartosz Skikiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Zorita scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bartosz Skikiewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laércio Travassos in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Julio Vera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15thth minute of the game Mai Hontoria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mai Hontoria in the 15th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clodoaldo á Borg during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice moves Ernest Spoelbergs could shoot a difficult shot in the 28th minute, which Julio Vera however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 32nd minute of play forced Bucaneiros's goalkeeper Bartosz Skikiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bartosz Skikiewicz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. Bartosz Skikiewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Eusébio Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bucaneiros's Matteo La Forest was substituted for Clodoaldo á Borg. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartosz Skikiewicz having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bucaneiros's Bartosz Skikiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustín Saelices in the 70th minute of play. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernest Spoelbergs, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 84th minute Ernest Spoelbergs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bartosz Skikiewicz. The goal made the score 1-2. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ecuador players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
