C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrão Mello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Tafalla took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Intxixu Porregimon. Intxixu Porregimon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Intxixu Porregimon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Mexilhão F. C. getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Kacper Jaworski hit a great ball. In the 24th match minute, Mexilhão F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anaia Barba to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 25th minute of play forced Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Intxixu Porregimon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Mexilhão F. C. defense, Lautaro Mancebo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Intxixu Porregimon. The Mexilhão F. C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Intxixu Porregimon should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Mancebo took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Intxixu Porregimon. Intxixu Porregimon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Intxixu Porregimon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of play. Germano Pernambucano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Lacasa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Pedrão Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexilhão F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pedrão Mello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joel Gaona was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Lautaro Mancebo made a precise shot to the right of Intxixu Porregimon. Mexilhão F. C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrão Mello in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrão Mello came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Intxixu Porregimon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Luca Zorita hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Intxixu Porregimon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Intxixu Porregimon made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Lautaro Mancebo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Intxixu Porregimon. That made the score 0-6 in the 94 minute of play.
