Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Espiga took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lautaro Navarro was a little too slow when Nel Caraballo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 7th minute, Álvaro Vilaça reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lautaro Navarro. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 10th minute, Álvaro Vilaça fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emil Malewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Honduras booed when Sikilaçi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Álvaro Vilaça didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes Sikilaçi got a freekick which was hit by Mirkelam Şahinalp. After having played for 23 minutes, Nel Caraballo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sikilaçi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nel Caraballo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mirkelam Şahinalp hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Sikilaçi's Nel Caraballo. But to his dismay, Nel Caraballo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 35th minute of the match Edmundo Espiga shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Emil Malewicz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nel Caraballo in the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

In the 52nd minute Nel Caraballo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nel Caraballo in the 56th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honduras's Lautaro Navarro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nel Caraballo in the 59th minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Alp Arslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th match minute, Sikilaçi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Djordje Nedzipi to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Edmundo Espiga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Honduras's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Espiga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emil Malewicz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Álvaro Vilaça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Villa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lautaro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Álvaro Vilaça in the 74th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Christian Sancho fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Emil Malewicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Espiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Moises Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emil Malewicz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. 91 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Nel Caraballo came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 95 minutes, Tahsin Rahmi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sikilaçi and the Honduras players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 95 played minutes Sikilaçi got a freekick which was hit by Tahsin Rahmi.
