In the 24th minute, Don Cabezon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedro Manzanares was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Dacian Nițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th match minute, Colombia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Indiano to maneuver through the defense. Ardy Pakubuwono struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Pedro Manzanares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC. Mauro Dos Santos's late challenge caught a Colombia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Mauro Dos Santos got a free kick in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Ardy Pakubuwono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dacian Nițescu made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Ardy Pakubuwono was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pedro Manzanares in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Axel Montenegro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dacian Nițescu. That made the score 2-1 in the 64 minute of play. Colombia made a substitution. Ignacio Mastache replaced Abram Sarmiento. Freddy Sazon kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Abram Secada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Dacian Nițescu made a huge save. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Don Cabezon sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. After 96 minutes, Abram Secada made it 3-3 with a short kick to the right side. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
