The corner went over the outstretched arms of RAKMO's goalie and right to Luis Andino. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. At last the ball reached Agustín Saelices at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of RAKMO. 1-2. The RAKMO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 1-2.

RAKMO made a substitution. Ksawery Zbytniewski replaced Barnaba Lichucki. 58 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when 庄潮勇 came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 庄潮勇 in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 庄潮勇 in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cyryl Soszka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 65th minute, Luis Andino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 庄潮勇 in the 70th minute of play. Cyryl Soszka made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 100th minute. In the 100th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cyryl Soszka. Cyryl Soszka yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. RAKMO succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ecuador had controlled the match.
