Răzvan Rednic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, Mugur Zmărăndache was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Incoinsight's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Mugur Zmărăndache hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Luis Andino might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Răzvan Rednic. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luis Andino ran back to his position shaking his head. 19 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Răzvan Rednic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 22 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Răzvan Rednic was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filip Dragota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Incoinsight's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Răzvan Rednic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Luis Andino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Răzvan Rednic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Filip Dragota tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Felix Montenegro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Răzvan Rednic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Agustín Saelices got free with Răzvan Rednic in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 54 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Răzvan Rednic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 57 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Răzvan Rednic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 59th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Răzvan Rednic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Răzvan Rednic. Răzvan Rednic yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 68 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Răzvan Rednic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. After 76 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Incoinsight's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Daniel Zorita scored to the left of an out of position Răzvan Rednic, making the score, 0-9. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Răzvan Rednic made a huge save. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Cristian Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Incoinsight's defense didn't have a chance, in the 90th minute, when Cristian Sancho scored to the left of an out of position Răzvan Rednic, making the score, 0-11. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Incoinsight.
