In the 38th minute, Abelardo Roderigo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Roderigo in the 38th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A nice corner shot did that Abelardo Roderigo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dante Lacasa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Ipar, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Ipar was the one to do the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Lautaro Mancebo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nenger de Penger FC's Laurens Roelfs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Nenger de Penger FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 68 minutes, Abelardo Roderigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nenger de Penger FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abelardo Roderigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Laurens Roelfs. Laurens Roelfs yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 75th minute of the match, Luca Zorita tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laurens Roelfs saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Laurens Roelfs made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 79th minute of play forced Nenger de Penger FC's goalkeeper Laurens Roelfs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Ipar in the 81st minute of play. Ni Jun Tian kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When Felix Luque fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mexico's protests and gave Felix Luque a yellow card for diving instead. Felix Luque hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
