After 2 minutes, Emilian Stoiculescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wolves Academy and the Bolivia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bolivia getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Alfonso de la Cruz hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Eliodor Balaci put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Camilo Freixa. After 10 played minutes Wolves Academy got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Robescu. Alfonso de la Cruz hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Iosif Chitila took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Fontirroig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Iosif Chitila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 20th minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Bolivia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Fernandino to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, Julio Chicote was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bolivia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wolves Academy the free kick. In the 27th minute, Julio Chicote hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Mario Fernandino made a precise shot to the right of Iosif Chitila. Wolves Academy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. When Eduardo Fontirroig came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Bolivia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Fontirroig couldn't finish the play. Wolves Academy's Iosif Chitila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Ferrant in the 40th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Eduardo Fontirroig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iosif Chitila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliodor Balaci to make the kick off. Joshua Miralles hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bolivia's Mario Fernandino got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliodor Balaci in the 64th minute of play. After some careless play in the Wolves Academy defense, Eduardo Fontirroig kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iosif Chitila. The Wolves Academy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iosif Chitila should have stopped the shot. Mario Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Iosif Chitila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliodor Balaci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bolivia booed when Wolves Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Robescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Although Wolves Academy had been in control for most of the match, Bolivia still came away with the win.
