Ovidiu Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Alberto Gisbert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidiu Marin. FC Cosula-BTF-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Gisbert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Ovidiu Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 26th minute of play. Ovidiu Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Emilian Bădila hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Uruguay's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Dacian Jurăscu scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Gayoso, making the score, 2-2. Dacian Jurăscu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Arturo Carvallo threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Sever Mărăscu quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Camilo Covarrubias kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Uruguay defense, Dacian Jurăscu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Gayoso. The Uruguay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Gayoso should have stopped the shot. The supporters of FC Cosula-BTF- booed when Uruguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Escribano didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 57th minute, Dacian Jurăscu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Gayoso was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. In the 65th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, FC Cosula-BTF-'s goalkeeper Ovidiu Marin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco Seco. In the 83rd match minute, FC Cosula-BTF- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurel Lăceanu to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Cosula-BTF-'s Filip Hosu got a free kick in the 86th minute. FC Cosula-BTF-'s Ovidiu Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gisbert in the 91st minute of play. In the 91st minute, Aurelian Giurcă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ovidiu Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidiu Marin. That made the score 4-3 after 96 minutes of play.
