If Eduardo Fontirroig had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Fontirroig received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Dennis Tacco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Carlo Lio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Camilo Freixa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernesto Petrocchi hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Julio Chicote managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bolivia's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Chicote was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Tacco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlo Lio to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of §.§. Iитяєρι∂α Łαиzαяα booed when Bolivia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Fontirroig didn't get a good kick on the ball. §.§. Iитяєρι∂α Łαиzαяα's Demetrio Iovine suffered a concussion in the 53rd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Alfredo Ferrant fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolivia's protests and gave Alfredo Ferrant a yellow card for diving instead. §.§. Iитяєρι∂α Łαиzαяα's Amedeo Miranda was substituted for Demetrio Iovine. Alfredo Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Dennis Tacco was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Alfonso de la Cruz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alfonso de la Cruz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Eduardo Fontirroig charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eduardo Fontirroig the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alfonso de la Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Dennis Tacco made a huge save. In the 78th minute Carlo Lio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bolivia's Camilo Freixa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Lio in the 78th minute of play. After a rather tough play, §.§. Iитяєρι∂α Łαиzαяα's Alfonso Boninsegna got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 88 minutes into the match, Alfredo Ferrant dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dennis Tacco, 1-2. Dennis Tacco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Fontirroig in the 91st minute of play. Eduardo Fontirroig hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Alfredo Ferrant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Bolivia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bolivia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
