In the 17th match minute, C.F Intercity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fridtjof Dramstad to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Abram Sarmiento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremie Van Nel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Montenegro in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jeremie Van Nel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, C.F Intercity's Luis Zamora got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Daniel Cazacu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 29th match minute, C.F Intercity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fridtjof Dramstad to maneuver through the defense. Jeremie Van Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. If Daniel Cazacu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Cazacu in the 36th minute of play. Colombia's Pascual Carballar quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Brandon Stamp, made in the 38th minute of the game. Jeremie Van Nel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 42nd minute of play. Jeremie Van Nel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Cazacu was the one to do the kick off. Jeremie Van Nel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 minutes of play, C.F Intercity's Daniel Cazacu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Manzanares was left in no man's land by his defense there! Axel Montenegro might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremie Van Nel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Montenegro ran back to his position shaking his head. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Jeremie Van Nel made a huge save. The supporters of Colombia booed when C.F Intercity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Stamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes C.F Intercity got a freekick which was hit by Brandon Stamp. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Colombia's Abram Secada looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jeremie Van Nel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santino Seco in the 78th minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Zamora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olivar Ribeiro's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Mastache in the 88th minute of play forced C.F Intercity's goalkeeper Jeremie Van Nel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Colombia booed when C.F Intercity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brandon Stamp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremie Van Nel didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Colombia's Abram Secada shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-2 in the ordered_time% minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, C.F Intercity could leave the field as winners, despite Colombia having more of the ball for most of the match.
