The crowd rose to their feet as Bora Türehan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dante Lacasa. That made the score 1-1 in the 22 minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Mexico's Joel Gaona made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Márk Pécsi was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Bora Türehan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Márk Pécsi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 30th minute of play. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zülfü Ulunay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Lacasa having to interfere. In the 40th minute Lautaro Mancebo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Márk Pécsi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Márk Pécsi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 41st minute of the match. Márk Pécsi came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Karaburun FC made a substitution. Osman Nuri Kolçak replaced Yüksel Çınar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bora Türehan was the one to do the kick off. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márk Pécsi having to interfere. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adnan Yılma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 64th minute of the match Karaburun FC got a corner. Mexico's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ahmet Ceyhan Acaröz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 66th minute, which Márk Pécsi however easily saved by the left post. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osman Nuri Kolçak, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Luca Rouco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Mexico's Luca Rouco in the 75th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Márk Pécsi was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Karaburun FC through an amazing save. Márk Pécsi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joel Gaona went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 85th minute, which Márk Pécsi however easily saved by the left post. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karaburun FC's goalkeeper Márk Pécsi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Zorita got free with Márk Pécsi in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Mexico walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
