USA's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Niculae Romanescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Cassius Byrne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Romanescu having to interfere. Isak Lundqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Day having to interfere. Niculae Romanescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cassius Byrne in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Cassius Byrne was slow to take the kick. During this time USA's players had a chance to rest. 24 minutes into the match, CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's Isak Lundqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Day narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Niculae Romanescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cassius Byrne in the 28th minute of play. If Isak Lundqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When USA's Cassius Byrne in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of USA booed when CWKS KĘDZIERZYN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Klich didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monty Rogers struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Niculae Romanescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for USA. The supporters of CWKS KĘDZIERZYN booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Monty Rogers didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Cassius Byrne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cassius Byrne was the one to do the kick off. Cassius Byrne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Niculae Romanescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Monty Rogers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Niculae Romanescu was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. USA were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after CWKS KĘDZIERZYN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cassius Byrne took the corner. In the 67th match minute, USA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Bradley to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Niculae Romanescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sam Campbell got free with Niculae Romanescu in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, USA's Sam Campbell sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niculae Romanescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sam Campbell succeeded in the game's 93rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. If Marco Baker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The USA supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing USA would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
