The crowd rose to their feet as Nils Siöberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Thiago Pliego. That made the score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Gonzalo Hoya took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Thiago Pliego to make any attempt to save it. Gonzalo Hoya succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Gonzalo Hoya who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pliego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Gonzalo Hoya put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Thiago Pliego. Eustacio Beliran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Casaus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mircea Grigorie hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 33rd minute of play forced C.A.JORGOVAN's goalkeeper Eustacio Beliran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Beliran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mariano Lacasa in the 34th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Nils Siöberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Fontirroigs shot in the 40th of the game seemed impossible, but Eustacio Beliran made a great throw and managed to grab the ball before it went below the crossbar. The excitement rose when Chile's Guillermo Fontirroig after 40 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for C.A.JORGOVAN's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 5-1. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A.JORGOVAN's goalkeeper Eustacio Beliran, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chile's Thiago Pliego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Chile from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Chile booed when C.A.JORGOVAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isidoro Honesto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.

Mariano Lacasa took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eustacio Beliran. Eustacio Beliran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. 54 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Hoya came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A throw-in in the 60th minute of the game was made by Anton Busk with Nils Siöberg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 64 minutes into the match, C.A.JORGOVAN's goal looked a bit too open when Mariano Lacasa came free, but Eustacio Beliran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustacio Beliran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 64th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Eustacio Beliran in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The C.A.JORGOVAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustacio Beliran should have stopped the shot. C.A.JORGOVAN made a substitution. Godfredo Mikeldi replaced Valdemar Velasco. C.A.JORGOVAN's Miguel Lope was substituted for Nils Siöberg. Pedro Indiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustacio Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 87th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Guillermo Fontirroig got a throw-in 89 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Francisco Carballar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Lope in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Gervasio Bermund's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. C.A.JORGOVAN were victorious despite being under pressure from Chile for much of the match.
