If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Martinsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 13th minute of play. Felix Martinsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 18th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of LA VIOLA's Felix Martinsson. Felix Martinsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jerry Stabbe's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jerry Stabbe helped the player get up and apologised. Jerry Stabbe hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 41 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gottfrid Brenner made a kick off. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gottfrid Brenner scored 1-4 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match was over Ecuador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than LA VIOLA throughout the match.
