After having played for 6 minutes, José Maria Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phantasy World's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Maria Neiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Phantasy World's Antoni Olejarz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th minute, José Maria Neiva made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. José Maria Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Illescas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Maria Neiva in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 55 minutes into the match, Phantasy World's José Maria Neiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Tomas Illescas lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Antoni Olejarz. In the 61st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Chicote to maneuver through the defense. Phantasy World's Zdzislaw Kręcina was substituted for Bálint Kormos. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 姜星桑's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The supporters of Phantasy World booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Chicote didn't get a good kick on the ball.
