Tomas Illescas started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Venezuela booed when SK Gullegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias-Alexander Jamieson didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias-Alexander Jamieson in the 12th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 15 in the game by Hannes Jamieson from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Bram Jamieson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Urmas Känsäkangas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 29th minute of play. After 31 played minutes SK Gullegem got a freekick which was hit by Otto Nørlinger. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urmas Känsäkangas having to interfere. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Mina didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hannes Jamieson made a kick off. 53 minutes in the game, Tomas Illescas fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Urmas Känsäkangas having to interfere. The supporters of SK Gullegem booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias-Alexander Jamieson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Jamieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Benedicto Atarratze kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute Mathias-Alexander Jamieson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, SK Gullegem's Edward Scigan got a free kick in the 76th minute. A collision led to SK Gullegem getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hannes Jamieson hit a great ball. In the 85th minute, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After having played for 96 minutes, Mathias-Alexander Jamieson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SK Gullegem's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mathias-Alexander Jamieson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venezuela's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
