Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastian Hartmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pabing SV's Jeremiah St. Juste was substituted for Sebastian Hartmann. Pabing SV's Hannes Schmielau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 29th minute of play. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 38th minute of play forced Pabing SV's goalkeeper Hannes Schmielau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Jan-Moritz Sellmer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. Hannes Schmielau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 44th minute of play. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Moritz Sellmer in the 45th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremiah St. Juste in the 46th minute of play. Hannes Schmielau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 48th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Roberto Ramirez kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 55th minute of play forced Pabing SV's goalkeeper Hannes Schmielau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Moritz Sellmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Schmielau having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Andi Metzler came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeremiah St. Juste in the 67th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pabing SV the free kick. In the 71st minute, Daniel Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felix Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Hannes Schmielau made a huge save. After 76th play minutes Jeremiah St. Juste shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. When Luis Andino came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luis Andino couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Cristian Sancho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hannes Schmielau. The goal made the score 2-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andi Metzler in the 91st minute of play. In the 95th minute, Felix Montes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 95 minutes, Jan-Moritz Sellmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pabing SV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan-Moritz Sellmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Pabing SV were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
