Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jan-Moritz Sellmer got the match started through his kick off. Hannes Schmielau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 3rd minute of the match. Gabriel Nazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Hannes Schmielau came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Moritz Sellmer in the 10th minute of play. When Gabriel Nazar came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Pabing SV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabriel Nazar couldn't finish the play. Cristian Sancho charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Sancho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute of the match Hendrik Heimann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. In the 24th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Schmielau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pabing SV's Andi Metzler got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 32 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Moritz Sellmer. 35 minutes into the match, Pabing SV's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Hannes Schmielau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andi Metzlers short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Julio Vera to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 40 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan-Moritz Sellmer. In the 41st minute, Florian Nazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Moritz Sellmer in the 43rd minute. In the 43rd minute, Jan-Moritz Sellmer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Daniel Zorita made a kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Moritz Sellmer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andi Metzler's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremiah St. Juste came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Felix Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Moritz Sellmer's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The Pabing SV fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Pabing SV's Jan-Moritz Sellmer looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannes Schmielau having to interfere. In the 90th minute Gabriel Nazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan-Moritz Sellmer, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Ecuador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
