Andrea Mariani kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 11 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ettore Santo. 14 minutes into the match, Maritek FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Hélio O'Connell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 19th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio O'Connell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Maritek FC's Felice Tacco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eli Mariani hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felice Tacco in the 46th minute of play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felice Tacco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Cristian Sancho dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hélio O'Connell, 1-1. In the 59th minute Eli Mariani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maritek FC's Hélio O'Connell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Maritek FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 72nd minute of play forced Maritek FC's goalkeeper Hélio O'Connell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felice Tacco in the 74th minute of the match. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hélio O'Connell came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 75th minute. Maritek FC's Alfredo Toschi was substituted for Ettore Santo. Maritek FC made a substitution. Federico Ondino replaced Ferruccio Zarillo. After 80 minutes of play, Maritek FC's Alfredo Toschi made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Julio Vera was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Ondino, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Federico Ondino went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Maritek FC's Federico Ondino got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Federico Ondino in the 90th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Andino to maneuver through the defense. Maritek FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Alfredo Toschi in the 95th minute. Many of Ecuador's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ecuador may have spent more time on the ball, but Maritek FC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
