The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Badia DevilZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mario Pizzuto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Badia DevilZ's zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Pizzuto came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 24th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Pizzuto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Badia DevilZ's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Mario Pizzuto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mario Pizzuto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play forced Badia DevilZ's goalkeeper Mario Pizzuto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Badia DevilZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Daniel Zorita made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Badia DevilZ's Mario Pizzuto managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 37th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Montes to maneuver through the defense. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toshko Toshkov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute of the match, Daniel Zorita got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mario Pizzuto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Mario Pizzuto made a huge save. Badia DevilZ's Mario Pizzuto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of play. With a little luck, Badia DevilZ's Mario Pizzuto got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mario Pizzuto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Montenegro in the 69th minute. Barin Callaghan kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Ecuador were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
