An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Czempa in the 8th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Rodborough's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Jagger Kaine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, Mexico's Joel Gaona nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jagger Kaine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Jagger Kaine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Rodborough's Jagger Kaine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 41st minute of play. Joel Gaona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jagger Kaine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jagger Kaine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Lautaro Mancebo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jagger Kaine. That made the score 0-5 in the 61 minute of play. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jagger Kaine having to interfere. Lautaro Mancebo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Jagger Kaine made a huge save. Lautaro Mancebo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Rodborough supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
