In the 17th minute, László Kulcsár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jagger Kaine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Jagger Kaine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes Rodborough's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Ecuador's Luis Andino to fire away a dangerous shot which Jagger Kaine despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jagger Kaine having to interfere. Jagger Kaine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodborough's Jagger Kaine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play. Donato Montxo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Rodborough's Herbert Czempa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Golaszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 37th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Boguslaw Golaszewski's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Herbert Czempa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Herbert Czempa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Eddy Odd ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The supporters of Rodborough booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Sebastián Puig didn't get a good kick on the ball. László Kulcsár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boguslaw Golaszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 77 played minutes Daniel Zorita shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Rodborough's Jagger Kaine to catch but Daniel Zorita was lucky. It became 2-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Boguslaw Golaszewski in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83rd play minutes Herbert Czempa shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 92nd minute, Ecuador's Camilo Gisbert seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Camilo Gisbert the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ecuador protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Camilo Gisbert had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Camilo Gisbert hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, László Kulcsár managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodborough's supporters rose to their feet, but László Kulcsár was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95th match minute, Rodborough was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donato Montxo to maneuver through the defense. Ecuador's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
