Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rosalio Cavada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Paulino Slight tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Casimír Cavada fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s protests and gave Casimír Cavada a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Casimír Cavada. Paulino Slight showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 20th minute of play forced ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s goalkeeper Paulino Slight to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manolo Letelier charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manolo Letelier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Manolo Letelier hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 28th minute of play forced ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s goalkeeper Paulino Slight to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosalio Cavada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Casimír Cavada tried to sneak it across the goal line. Paulino Slight made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. Luis Andino took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paulino Slight. Paulino Slight dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 42nd minute, Cristian Sancho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Casimír Cavada made the kick off in the second half. When Héctor David Casas fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s protests and gave Héctor David Casas a yellow card for diving instead. Héctor David Casas kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Cristian Sancho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Paulino Slight made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Slight was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimír Cavada's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. Paulino Slight came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Cristian Sancho. But to his dismay, Cristian Sancho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 70 minutes, Roland Marti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ and the Ecuador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paulino Slight. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Ismael Nazario Sastre got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Paulino Slight proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ from getting a goal against them. In the 76th match minute, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Nazario Sastre to maneuver through the defense. ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Salamón Asencio was substituted for Odín Oliva. A collision led to ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽ getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Ismael Nazario Sastre hit a great ball. With a little luck, ♞⚽ VIRAO Extreme ♞⚽'s Paulino Slight got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, Juan Sebastián Puig dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paulino Slight, 0-4. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
