Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Hector Santiago got the match started through his kick off. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gomez Urrea having to interfere. Gomez Urrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Hector Santiago tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute Hector Santiago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Hector Santiago who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Porvenir were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Ecuador's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Urko Villaluenga took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Urko Villaluenga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience cheered when Urko Villaluenga's long shot passed Julio Vera's right side. It was 1-0, 36 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Hector Santiago got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

53 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Santiago came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Santiago in the 58th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with Gomez Urrea in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Porvenir made a substitution. Jesus Guion replaced Urko Villaluenga. Porvenir's Camacho Molledo was substituted for Guerrero Onterino. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garrido Bolide, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When Hector Santiago fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porvenir's protests and gave Hector Santiago a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew the final whistle, Porvenir could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
