Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Peru's Julian Murillo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Chorroarín's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Narciso Oinatz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 5th minute of play forced Chorroarín's goalkeeper Narciso Oinatz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emmanuel Reyes got a throw-in 9 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Luz Tejedor. Narciso Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emmanuel Reyes made in the 19th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Milagros Fraga. In the 21st minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Oinatz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chorroarín's Narciso Oinatz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute, Emmanuel Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillermo Mitxaut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Narciso Oinatz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Chorroarín's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. In the 34th match minute, Chorroarín was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Navarro to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute of the match Peru got a corner. Chorroarín's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Milagros Fraga got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Narciso Oinatz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Narciso Oinatz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 39th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Prudencio Socorro got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rolando Noboa quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillermo Mitxaut was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Emmanuel Reyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pastor Giménez made in the 57th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Alvaro Aquino immediately put the ball in play. When Moises Gayoso came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Moises Gayoso couldn't finish the play. Chorroarín's Timoteo Arotza was substituted for Guillermo Mitxaut. Narciso Oinatz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milagros Fraga in the 67th minute. In the 72nd minute, Eliseo Mina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Arotza came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Pastor Giménez, made in the 80th minute of the game. Narciso Oinatz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicolas Betadur in the 94th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peru were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
