The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Martyn Patten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olliver Todman in the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Sebastien Dryden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester United F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastien Dryden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dakota Gaffigan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Australian Youth Academy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
