The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Finlay Stair during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finlay Stair to maneuver through the defense. Romon Oliver hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Rickard Kielberg struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Demonde Jacobson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Excellent Winners. A collision led to FC Excellent Winners getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Sonny Beckeman hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Jamaica's Finlay Stair tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sonny Beckeman hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, Jamaica's Finlay Stair sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that George Törnkvist narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With an all-out effort, FC Excellent Winners's Demonde Jacobson threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rickard Kielberg, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 18 minutes of play, Jamaica's Finlay Stair made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Törnkvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Jamaica booed when FC Excellent Winners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickard Kielberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Romon Oliver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Jarell Hill got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jarell Hill came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Jamaica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarell Hill couldn't finish the play. George Törnkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Finlay Stair went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to FC Excellent Winners getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. August Apelqvist hit a great ball. George Törnkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Finlay Stair, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarell Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Finlay Stair in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck George Törnkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Kielberg in the 52nd minute of play. In the 57th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geroy Ascue to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Kielberg in the 57th minute of play forced Jamaica's goalkeeper Demonde Jacobson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarell Hill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jarell Hill came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Jamaica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jarell Hill couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, FC Excellent Winners's Dan Kleen got a free kick in the 69th minute. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Kielberg in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 played minutes FC Excellent Winners got a freekick which was hit by August Apelqvist. Sonny Beckeman charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sonny Beckeman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. George Törnkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bengt Nyberg came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the FC Excellent Winners fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bengt Nyberg couldn't finish the play. In the 93rd minute, Karlus Waugh fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 94 played minutes FC Excellent Winners got a freekick which was hit by Georg Wenerdahl. Jamaica's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
