Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Patryk Wierzbicki sent off a good shot on target. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakub Bobrowski in the 8th minute of the match. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jakub Bobrowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After having played for 11 minutes, Jakub Bobrowski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yelonki's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakub Bobrowski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yelonki's Dariusz Soszka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 15th minute of play. Dariusz Soszka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Patryk Wierzbicki fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignacy Piczak got free with Julio Vera in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 45 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dariusz Soszka narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dariusz Soszka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jakub Bobrowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Patryk Wierzbicki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th match minute, Yelonki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfred Jajko to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Yelonki booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Felix Montenegro could shoot a difficult shot in the 73rd minute, which Dariusz Soszka however easily saved by the left post. The Yelonki fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when Yelonki's Jakub Bobrowski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Yelonki's Dariusz Soszka got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dariusz Soszka didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jakub Bobrowski in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julio Vera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Patryk Wierzbicki's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patryk Wierzbicki helped the player get up and apologised. Patryk Wierzbicki hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Yelonki could leave the field as winners, despite Ecuador having more of the ball for most of the match.
