The supporters of Azul Y Plomo booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexander Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Puig hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Francisco Carabia struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisco Carabia got free with Benito Sanz in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Carabia to make the kick off. Azul Y Plomo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Piñeira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavion Foronda in the 58th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Carabia, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The supporters of Azul Y Plomo booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Zoido didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Eliseo Noboa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benito Sanz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Costa Rica's Axel Tasis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xarles Herrero. Xarles Herrero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Azul Y Plomo's Francisco Carabia got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Xavion Foronda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Azul Y Plomo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Azul Y Plomo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
