Zapryan Sachanski came out and tried to block the shot, but Alberto Tafalla slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zapryan Sachanski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Цървена звезда fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mexico were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
