Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Jaime Pardo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Bennis's Sven-Arne Eklund. Primitivo Escribano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Covarrubias took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven-Arne Eklund. Sven-Arne Eklund dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Bennis's Sven-Arne Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Pardo in the 30th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bennis defense, Jaime Pardo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sven-Arne Eklund. The Bennis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sven-Arne Eklund should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sven-Arne Eklund. Bennis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Pardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After 41 minutes of play, Paraguay's Hector Covarrubias made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sven-Arne Eklund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juan Diego Tenorio made in the 46th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Bennis's Albin Lenberg. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

In the 52nd minute, Paraguay's Jaime Pardo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jose Sanz got free with Sven-Arne Eklund in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaime Pardo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Sven-Arne Eklund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jaime Pardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jaime Pardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the game, Primitivo Escribano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Sven-Arne Eklund was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sven-Arne Eklund was a little too slow when Jaime Pardo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-9. 81 minutes in the game Jose Sanz did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Hector Covarrubias. After 82 minutes, Hans Kielberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bennis and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Hans Kielberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaime Pardo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sven-Arne Eklund. Bennis's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jaime Pardo in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven-Arne Eklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bennis's Sven-Arne Eklund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Bennis from getting a goal against them. When the match was over Paraguay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bennis throughout the match.
