Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Axel Tasis took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Abel Carballo got a free kick in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Rocha. In the 9th minute of the match Westbam got a corner. Costa Rica's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teofil Skaradowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 11th minute of play forced Westbam's goalkeeper Tony Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lautaro Puig struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Tony Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Costa Rica. 15 minutes into the match, Teofil Skaradowski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Benito Sanz, 1-0. Klement Pawlak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Westbam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juliusz Gorzkiewicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 minutes, Mateusz Badanowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westbam and the Costa Rica players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Costa Rica booed when Westbam was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateusz Badanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klement Pawlak in the 30th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Klement Pawlak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Benito Sanz. That made the score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. In the 39th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Tasis in the 42nd minute of play forced Westbam's goalkeeper Tony Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Alcocer during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Klement Pawlak to make the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Klement Pawlak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Teodoro Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teodoro Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Klement Pawlak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Westbam's supporters rose to their feet, but Klement Pawlak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Klement Pawlak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Klement Pawlak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the game, Westbam's Teodoro Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. After 79 minutes of play, Westbam's Teodoro Rocha made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teodoro Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Benito Sanz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Teodoro Rocha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Eliseo Noboa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Westbam walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
