Frank Rost took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aldo Navarro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nina fc's goalkeeper Higinio Sansone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when 庄坚岩 got free with Higinio Sansone in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Nina fc's goalkeeper Higinio Sansone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 庄坚岩. After having played for 29 minutes, Rubens Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nina fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubens Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 傅阳鹏 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nina fc's Saul Macerio was substituted for Rubens Prata. Nina fc's Fulgencio Romildo was substituted for Aldo Navarro. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Saul Macerio made the kick off in the second half.
