He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 22 minutes into the game, Blas Brun lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Brun in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 26th minute of play forced Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Papo Roach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute Maximiliano Escribano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Papo Roach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Escribano struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Papo Roach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blas Brun succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Papo Roach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Escribano in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. Navigatii Bacău's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jaime Cazalla made a great header on Uruguay's corner, it was just that Navigatii Bacău's Papo Roach managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Navigatii Bacău getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Cătălin Archiudean hit a great ball. Inocencio Barea kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When Francisco Seco fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Francisco Seco a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Francisco Seco hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Blas Brun made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Uruguay's Francisco Seco made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Papo Roach was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eric Şneapotă hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Eric Şneapotă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Joaquin Gayoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 played minutes Uruguay got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Franco. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Papo Roach, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Papo Roach made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Maximiliano Escribano sent off a good shot on target. In the 66th minute Uruguay were awarded a corner. Jaime Cazalla went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Uruguay's corner Jaime Cazalla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Papo Roach quite easily take care of the ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Blas Brun in the 73rd minute of play. Uruguay's Alberto Gisbert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Inocencio Barea, made in the 75th minute of the game. After 75 played minutes Navigatii Bacău got a freekick which was hit by Konrad Ziemniak. With a little luck, Navigatii Bacău's Papo Roach got control of the ball when Francisco Seco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Camilo Covarrubias hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Navigatii Bacău's Emiliano Rodas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Gayoso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Eric Şneapotă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Seco in the 96th minute of play forced Navigatii Bacău's goalkeeper Papo Roach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Navigatii Bacău fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Uruguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
