Dimitris Fragou started the match with the kick off. 14 minutes into the match, Dimitris Fragou notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clinton Eastwood got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dimitris Fragou showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Tomas Illescas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nikos Sarkanis. meteora 1929's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Illescas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Dimitris Fragou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chatziantoniou Xanthos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Xanthos, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jose Correa fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Jose Correa a yellow card for diving instead. After 48 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitris Fragou went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Fragou in the 56th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dimitris Fragou couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by meteora 1929's Dimitris Fragou. But to his dismay, Dimitris Fragou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 76th minute, Chatziantoniou Xanthos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Tomas Illescas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nikos Sarkanis was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitris Fragou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 91 minutes of play Venezuela's Jose Correa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jose Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Fragou in the 93rd minute of play. meteora 1929's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
