Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Defensores de Fasano's Generoso Nazario started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Ecuador's Luis Andino made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Deng Liang Yao was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 10thth minute of the game Daniel Zorita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores de Fasano's Deng Liang Yao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Luiz Andrade notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Luiz Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Defensores de Fasano's Generoso Nazario nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Deng Liang Yao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Defensores de Fasano's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led Ecuador's Daniel Zorita to fire away a dangerous shot which Deng Liang Yao despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Deng Liang Yao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Deng Liang Yao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Felix Montes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Deng Liang Yao quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Deng Liang Yao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luis Andino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The crowd rose to their feet as Cristian Sancho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Deng Liang Yao. That made the score 2-2 in the 51 minute of play. Deng Liang Yao was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 53 minute of play. With a little luck, Defensores de Fasano's Deng Liang Yao got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 65th minute. Agustín Saelices was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Defensores de Fasano's Delmar Pes was substituted for Luiz Andrade. Daniel Zorita came free with the goalkeeper in the 74th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Deng Liang Yao could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roland Deutsch in the 80th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Deutsch in the 80th minute of play. Delmar Pes's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Defensores de Fasano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Pes didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Deng Liang Yao managed to avoid a goal in the 88thth minute, when Ecuador's Cristian Sancho fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Deng Liang Yao when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 89th match minute, Defensores de Fasano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Pes to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tiburcio Peruxu during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tiburcio Peruxu kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Deng Liang Yao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
