Dimitris Fragou started the match with the kick off. Tomas Illescas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nikos Sarkanis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was out of position in the 8 minute of play, and Dimitris Fragou capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dimitris Fragou really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Nikos Sarkanis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Illescas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitris Fragou in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 17thth minute of the game Dimitris Fragou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. meteora 1929's Nikos Sarkanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 19th minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, meteora 1929's Chatziantoniou Xanthos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When Venezuela's Tomas Illescas in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, meteora 1929's Dean Bittner got a free kick in the 36th minute. Tomas Illescas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikos Sarkanis having to interfere. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. 42 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Fragou came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Jose Correa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave meteora 1929 the free kick. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

52 minutes into the match, meteora 1929's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Costa came free, but Nikos Sarkanis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Illescas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Nikos Sarkanis made a huge save. After 57 minutes of play Venezuela's Jose Correa was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. In the 59th minute Chatziantoniou Xanthos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th minute, Dimitris Fragou made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. In the 67th minute, Aris Kasnaferis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dimitris Fragou's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Dean Bittner charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dean Bittner the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Dean Bittner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute Dimitris Fragou shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitris Fragou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Chatziantoniou Xanthos notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chatziantoniou Xanthos in the 85th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tomas Illescas hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute, Dimitris Fragou made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After 95 minutes of play, meteora 1929's Dimitris Fragou made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the meteora 1929 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
