He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Honduras reached it. Edmundo Espiga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Amorim having to interfere. Arthur Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 19th minute of the match. Flying Dutch's Arthur Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Tafalla in the 24th minute of play. Fabian Ivașcu kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Moises Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Raymundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Basilio Lain hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the game, Basilio Lain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lautaro Navarro was out of position in the 48 minute of play, and Higinio Raymundo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Higinio Raymundo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niceto Xacintu made a kick off. Niceto Xacintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eurico Batista's late challenge caught a Honduras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eurico Batista helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Flying Dutch getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Eurico Batista hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Fabian Ivașcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Basilio Lain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lautaro Navarro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Raymundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Shen Fan Shu made in the 78th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Honduras's Christian Sancho. In the 79th minute Sebastian Villa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Shen Fan Shu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Esteban Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 82nd minute Basilio Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lautaro Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Basilio Lain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flying Dutch's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basilio Lain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Ivașcu in the 87th minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Flying Dutch got a corner. Honduras's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Eurico Batista ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Flying Dutch's Eurico Batista to fire away a dangerous shot which Lautaro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Honduras booed when Flying Dutch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shen Fan Shu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edmundo Espiga struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Arthur Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Honduras. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Flying Dutch had won after a very even match.
