Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) When Niceto Xacintu came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Flying Dutch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Xacintu couldn't finish the play. When Efrain Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Efrain Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Efrain Moruga got a free kick in the 9th minute. Axel Tasis hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Niceto Xacintu sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Basilio Lain showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. After 24 played minutes Flying Dutch got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Ivașcu. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Basilio Lain got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Thiago de Mendonça hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Flying Dutch's Niceto Xacintu. But to his dismay, Niceto Xacintu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Efrain Moruga hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Higinio Raymundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Niceto Xacintu scored 4-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benito Sanz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niceto Xacintu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Xacintu, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Higinio Raymundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eliseo Noboa during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Eliseo Noboa got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Basilio Lain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Basilio Lain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Ivașcu came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Higinio Raymundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flying Dutch's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Raymundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benito Sanz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Juan Rubio hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Basilio Lain might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benito Sanz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basilio Lain ran back to his position shaking his head. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eurico Batista in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Shen Fan Shu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Flying Dutch players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
