Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Snorlax FC's Mario Jesus Allu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rdth minute of the game Mario Jesus Allu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tancredo Manguyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Tancredo Manguyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tibalt Bruna in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Snorlax FC got a freekick which was hit by Zebulón Diaz de Andrade. 21 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Tancredo Manguyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Snorlax FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorencio Smith didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Snorlax FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Francisco Hernández hit a great ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Ecuador from getting a goal against them. 32 minutes into the match, Snorlax FC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Tancredo Manguyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tancredo Manguyague having to interfere. Mario Jesus Allu took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When Juan Sebastián Puig fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ecuador's protests and gave Juan Sebastián Puig a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Juan Sebastián Puig hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Ecuador's Felix Montenegro got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibalt Bruna in the 58th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Snorlax FC's Tibalt Bruna. But to his dismay, Tibalt Bruna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. With a little luck, Snorlax FC's Tancredo Manguyague got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after Snorlax FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibalt Bruna in the 74th minute of the match. Tancredo Manguyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Snorlax FC's Tibalt Bruna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julio Vera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 83rd minute, Tibalt Bruna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Tancredo Manguyague in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute Mario Jesus Allu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
